Location. The Catalina Hotel is located in Miami Beach, Fla., one block from the ocean and two blocks from the Miami Convention Center. Famed South Beach restaurants, shops and nightclubs are four blocks away.
Hotel Features. The retro style Catalina Hotel features a two story lobby where flowing white draperies and bursts of crimson color define the d�cor. Maxine Lounge prepares New American fusion cuisine, while the Poolside Bar offers a light fare menu. A complimentary evening social hour includes an open bar. Hotel wide wireless Internet access is available for a fee, and business amenities include fax and photocopy services. An outdoor sundeck houses a small pool. Spa services are offered in the pool area, and a recreation room houses a library. The hotel provides transportation to and from Miami International Airport, and offers shuttle service to nearby shopping destinations.
Guestrooms. Two, three story buildings offer 137 contemporary guestrooms that include two suites. Accommodations boast hardwood flooring and all white minimalist d�cor with brilliant red accents. Rooms contain beds draped with down comforters and Belgian cotton sheets. Room amenities include refrigerators and stocked minibars. Select rooms feature flat screen televisions and mp3 docking stations. Bathrooms are stocked with Gilchrist & Soames toiletries and contain glass enclosed shower stalls with overhead rain showerheads.
Expert Tip. The Catalina Hotel provides beach towels and up to two beach chairs per day, per room. The hotel's bicycles are an ideal mode of transportation for cruising the oceanfront.
